2025 AMBASSADOR PHOTOSHOOT

INFORMATION

LOCATION:

Shoot Location: The exterior of The Pavilion Performing Arts Centre Sutherland

Address: 30 Eton Street Sutherland, 2232

Parking / Directions: Parking is available in Eton Street, Sutherland Shire Council, and Flora Street car parks, as well as ample street parking.

Meeting Point: We will meet at Sutherland Uniting Church, where we have hired a space for warm-up, changing, and supervised waiting between photo sessions. Parents are welcome to watch their child’s session, wait at the church, or drop off and pick up their child.

ARRIVAL:

Dancers should meet at Sutherland Uniting Church at their scheduled arrival time with hair and makeup complete.

  • Hair: Female dancers can choose a ballet bun or a variation of a classical ballet bun style.

  • Makeup: A natural make-up look.

Shoot times are a general guide and may change depending on weather conditions. If it’s overcast we’ll shoot as indicated, if it’s bright and sunny we may need to push the times back later.

SHOOT GENERAL INFO:

We’re aiming to capture the soft afternoon and sunset lighting, with sunset scheduled for 8:10 PM. Timings may adjust depending on weather and lighting.

The shoot is to introduce our team of ambassadors & create promotional content for our 2025 programs.

Once all dancers have arrived we will do a little meet and greet with myself, Paige (assisting), Rainee (Rainee Lantry Photography).

We will be capturing video content for our Instagram reels and TikTok. Rainee will be taking a range of solo & group photos.

Ambassadors will receive all content captured on the day to share on their socials tagging @_balletblanc

CHECKLIST:

What to bring on the day & styling*

*We will also have some options for styling. If dancers can bring what they have we can go from there!

ALL DANCERS:

  • Water

  • Snacks

  • Warm-up Attire: To stay warm between shots.

  • Classical Ballet Costumes: We will be shooting in costume. If your dancer does not have a classical costume, please let us know in advance so we can provide one.

  • Ballet Class Attire/Leotards: Bring a variety, focusing on solid colors like light/powder blue, red or bright maroon, coffee, light pink, black, lilac, and white. You may also bring any patterned leotards if they are special. The more options, the better!

  • Ballet Flats: New or like-new condition. Male dancers, please bring a color that matches your costume.

FEMALE DANCERS:

  • Ballet stockings should be new or like new, in a colour that closely matches your skin tone, with matching shoes. If wearing pink tights, Theatrical Pink is preferred.

  • Pointe shoes if on pointe, in new or like new condition.
